The Night Scout's proximity sensor automatically turns the night vision scope on when it is brought into the viewing position or off when it is lowered--extending the battery life by up to ten times. The binoculars' high-quality, Generation 1 image intensifier tube amplifies available light for a clear view in dark places while the built-in long-range infrared illuminator allows viewing in total darkness. The digital controls allow you to activate or deactivate all of the features of the Night Scout with an easy push of a button.
